Great Trethew Rally

As many of you know, following the sad loss of the Morval Rally in 2016, our committed team of Volunteers took up the challenge to carry the baton of raising incredible funds for charities. However, with that in mind, this is our first year of running the rally and I feel it is important to remind everyone that we will be incurring a lot of set up costs.

It will be unlikely that this year will see a tremendous amount going to charity but we will be doing our best to support the very local charities such as Liskeard and Looe Rugby Club and The Scouts which are helping with the rally and hope that the funds we do raise for them will make a difference.

Our thanks also go to the Cornish Times, for their help in creating this guide, and to every one of you who are supporting our Rally by volunteering, advising, promoting, supporting and attending the event. Without you, we would not be able to do any of this.

We hope you have a really great Show.

If you take some photos and want to share them, please add them to our facebook page “Trethew Rally” or email them to secretary@trethewrally.uk

All the best - The Trethew Rally Team Health and Safety

The Health and Safety of everyone connected to the show has meant that some areas might be roped off or the stewards will form temporary barriers; please follow any instructions that might be given by the stewards, they are there to assist and advise, and hopefully to enjoy the rally.

In wet or windy conditions some attractions may not be available, or access to a particular area of the rally might be restricted or off limits. Please respect these areas and adhere to any safety notices around the site.

One of the main attractions of the rally is the display of vehicles, please be aware that there will be moving vehicles and equipment around the site, so it is really important to keep an eye on your children.

As well as the stewards, there will be a number of Rally Show Yard Directors on site (identified by their high visibility jackets) who will be there to help with any problems.

A “lost persons”, First Aid and Fire post will be sited towards the centre of the Rally adjacent to the main St Mary’s Lead Works Ring.

Dogs are welcome but please keep your dog on a lead at all times and pick up any mess it may leave.

Finally, on a serious note, please report any unattended bags or packages, or any concerns you may have to our Stewards.

We hope you have a safe and enjoyable time at the rally
