Le Festival International des Jardins Until November 5, 2017 The dreamy setting of Chaumont-sur-Loire, Centre-Val de Loire, is ideally positioned to host the International Garden Festival – arguably one of the most famous worldwide. Luscious, green and fortified, the town’s air of magic is intensified by the floral extravaganza that takes place here every year. A much-loved part of the Nice


Carnival, the ‘Battle of Flowers’ involves around 100 flowers being tossed to the crowd from passing floats. From single-stem handouts to full bouquets, the flowers are often locally grown and include roses, daisies, gladioli and carnations, among others. Florissimo 2020


Held in Dijon every five years since 1980, Florissimo continues to stun with its thematic floral exhibition. Along with meticulously designed gardens on show to guests, the event incorporates competitions for the most attractive stands and best young florists, attracting talent from French and international cities and
