Mozart loved this opera so much that he asked for it to be played on his death bed. An imaginary story, The Magic Flute is a tender and amusing opera enjoyed by seasoned opera goers and novices alike. It has a many popular melodies, including two arias sung by The Queen of the Night (which include the highest notes possible in music) and the amusing duet "Pa Pa Pa" by Papagena & Papageno. Whether an opera buff or just curious - another great show at Evesham Arts Centre.
