EVENTS Mille Miglia /E A DF S A 1000 mile road trip of Italian architecture, art, food, wine & music

In 1955 Stirling Moss & Denis Jenkinson won the 1000 mile open-road endurance race round Italy at an average speed of 98.53 mph - no time for pit stops or culture! In 2014 the freelance art historian, curator, film producer, lecturer & writer Libby Horner followed the route in more leisurely fashion. In this multi- media lecture she combines photographs, film, songs and quotations from writers & poets into a kaleidoscopic view of the cars & characters involved in the Mille Miglia race.
