Catriona McDermid studied Music at Oxford & the Royal College of Music. She now freelances as both a modern & baroque bassoonist, playing with ensembles such as BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra & Florilegium. Tonight she'll be perform Alexandre Tansman: Suite, Edward Elgar: Romance, Peter Hope: Bassoon Sonata and Ivor Gurney: Sleep (from 5 Elizabethan Songs). Supported by Countess of Munster's Musical Trust.
