We love summer! I am sure most of you have enjoyed the wonderful weather we have experienced in June and with schools shortly breaking-up for the year it means the start of the holiday season is well upon us in this July edition of Live 24-Seven.
Nothing celebrates summer more than Wimbledon and this month we open with an exclusive interview from former British No 1 tennis player, Tim Henman. Tim shares with us some of the glories and disappointments he experienced during his illustrious career and he also discusses his thoughts on the future of tennis in this insightful article.

One can’t enjoy the two weeks of tennis without indulging in a traditional English tea and you will find recipes from The Kilpeck Inn in Herefordshire, for the best egg and cucumber sandwiches, followed by some delicious home made strawberry scones – get baking!
There are plenty of festivals happening in our local regions including the Food & Drink Festival at Gloucester Quays, which is hosting an array of culinary stars such as Candice Brown, winner of The Great British Bake Off 2016. Head off to Tewkesbury, which is our special town feature this month and you will discover daily events from creative writing workshops, historical walks and of course there is the famous Tewkesbury Medieval Festival, which is happening on 8/9 July.
