TRAVEL guide

Argentina The eighth largest country in the world is packed with must‐dos: watch a tango in

Buenos Aires, go on a wine tour in Mendoza, trek the naonal parks of Patagonia, visit the breath‐taking Iguazu waterfalls and Jesuit missions of the north, ride with gauchos and spend the night under the stars on the pampas, or go whale watching off the coast of the most southerly town in the world. Chrisna Pegler

obvious as in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro.

Leaving Buenos Aires behind, a visit to Iguazu Falls is a must; twice the height of Niagara Falls and stretching more than one and a half miles, they are arguably one of the greatest wonders of the natural world.

Argenna is one of the most geographically and culturally diverse countries in South America and a visit here is always going to be unique.

The majority of visitors will fly into Buenos Aires, which is the most ‘European’ of all South American capitals, with its wide boulevards, sophiscated cafes and designer shops. Don’t be deceived by appearances, there are huge disparies in wealth but it’s just not so immediately

Argenne Patagonia is a beauful and unspoilt wilderness region with landscapes ranging from heavily forested mountains to wild windswept peninsulas and breathtaking glaciers. Here you can experience a fantasc variety of wildlife including penguins, seal lion and whales.

There are many different ways to enjoy Argenna, from group touring and independent touring, incorporang lots of areas of the country, to twin centre trips plus cruising Patagonia or even combining Argenna with an Antarcc Cruise. The opons are endless!

Argenna is a great year‐round

desnaon. The seasons are opposite to ours, with the north of the country tropical, the central temperate and the south cold, especially in the winter from June to August.

The me difference is only three hours on GMT and visas are not required for UK passport holders for stays up to three months.

The flying me from the UK is approximately 14 hours and there are direct flights to Buenos Aires.
