Gauri Khan
Gauri Khan is the wife of the King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan, but her husband is not the only identity she has. She is an interior designer and co-owner of Red Chillies Entertainment, a production company. Gauri Khan has also launched her line of furniture ‘The Charcoal Project’ in partnership with Suzanne Khan.
Kirron Kher
Kirron Kher is the wife of Anupam Kher who is one of the best actors in Bollywood. She struggled in Bollywood films in early 80’s but to no avail. The active theatre actress later married to Anupam Kher and started a new life. Kirron Kher won a national award for her film, Sardari Begum. She judged a TV reality show India’s Got Talent, which was a huge TV success. In 2014, she was elected as the Member of Parliament from Chandigarh.
These women could have led a simple life under the shadow of their husband’s success. Despite the burning ambition in their heart didn’t let them dwell in the struggle free complacency. Apart from being an interior designer, she is an excellent satirical columnist and a writer. Twinkle Khanna has written two books that were a huge hit among readers. Currently, she is producing a movie ‘Padman’ based on the real-life story of a man who made sanitary napkins accessible to women of his village.
