I sent an e-mail to Laser Zone thanking them for ensuring the youngsters had a great evening and looking forward to another adventure in a few months’ time. They wrote back saying it was a pleasure to have such a well-behaved group. Ah, that’s nice!

e still enjoy time together, although we only have nine regular children these days. Most three year olds are now


going to pre-school which is a shame.


As I write this I’ve just returned from our Monday session where this morning we made a carriage for circus animals in card with bars at the front. We’d cut out lions, zebra and elephants which could be dropped behind the bars. Once finished we had an attractive activity to take home. I didn’t have time to make the train that should be pulling this carriage, but I can make that in a couple of weeks as it was so popular today. I have a lovely tiger that we could cut out and it would look really good behind bars!
