W

hen we returned from our Easter break, we started on some activities which would complete our Lady

Juliet Challenge.

Lady Juliet Townsend was a very popular president of Northants Girl Guiding who sadly died last year. She was always keen to take up a challenge and to enjoy friendship and good humour along the way. Therefore an award has been set up in her memory and we have all enjoyed working on the various challenges. We have worked with obedience dogs, been on a nature walk, found out about London, taken part in our own Changing of the Guard and, in service to our community, we have visited the Evelyn Wright Home and made rag rugs. We hope to submit our achievements soon and to claim our badges.

Rainbows and Brownies have

been learning to cook and to provide simple meals for themselves. We had great fun learning to make break- fast last week and managed

to eat 32 boxes of variety pack cereals, 2 loaves and a whole jar of jam in our sessions!
