were also photo-etched. The radiator shells, filler caps and headlamp rims were bright plated metal and the tyres were made of soft, rubber-like ma- terial. A sheet of transfers with appropriate racing numbers was included in each kit along with a well-illustrated A4 page showing how to build and paint the models. The parts were well made and fitted together easily.


LM10 was the most successful car at Le Mans...


The bodies of the cars were appropriately shaped with good louvres, although the latter were a little large; those on the top bonnet panels needed to be modified so that the front ones were shorter than those at the rear. Once the painting was completed it was realised that the louvres on the exhaust side of the bonnets were incorrect, but it was felt to be too late to make the neces- sary changes. Some missing panel lines were cut with a fine saw. The small bulges on the right side
