February 27 Concert of Favourite Music Invicta Grammar School, Maidstone Maidstone’s own Simon Proctor is organising this concert of favourite music in aid of Heart of Kent Hospice. Simon is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and has composed works including a James Bond Piano Concerto and Concerto for Serpent and Orchestra, which has gone on to be performed globally. March 6 Winter Welly and Waterproof Day, Buttercups Goat Sanctuary, Boughton Monchelsea A chance for visitors to observe the goats in their home surroundings and to see them relaxed, playing and grazing. Members of staff and volunteers will be at hand to show you around the stables and can introduce you to some of the goats, while informing you of the work at Buttercups. You may well see the Sanctuary at work with volunteers cleaning and looking after the goats’ welfare, grooming and perhaps giving the


occasional bath. Hot and cold drinks are available on the day. Entrance by donation. 10am–3pm.
