really isn’t anything very complicated about using the lunar and solar calendar to decide fishing times. It is just a matter of knowing exactly when the sun and moon will rise and set in the local sky. This fishing theory is based


upon the premise that fish are most active during a 45-minute period on either side of the four daily times the sun and moon rise and fall in the sky. If this is true, this situation


provides every angler with a window of four 90-minute periods in each 24 hour cycle where fishing opportunities are perfectly suited to a successful catch. And, the absolute best times are during the 1–2 day stretch when the sun and moon rise or fall concurrently on
