THE BUZZ
Share Lu Jong Tibetan Healing Yoga by Becoming a Teacher this June
T
his year, the Lu Jong Tibetan Yoga Teacher Training is being held in upstate NY. The program aims to build a community of teachers that can effectively share Lu Jong. It is offered by Nangten Menlang Buddhist Medical Center and Farrah Garan of Tibetan Healing Movement.
Lu Jong is a series of movements rooted in Tibetan Medicine and Buddhism. It is a practical and accessible method for boost- ing health, balancing body systems and cultivating mental stability. Tulku Lobsang is the pioneer of this ancient practice in the West, having developed this systematic approach to releasing blockages and balancing body and mind.
The program includes a 12-day education (June 12 – 20, August
1 – 5) taught by Farrah Garan, and certifi cation with Tulku Lobsang (October 20 – 22). Upon completion of this training, you will be able to confi dently teach the 23 movements, modify them based on individual needs, and explain their benefi ts from the view of Tibetan Medicine and Tantrayana Buddhism. Most importantly, you will be able to offer your community something that will bring great benefi t.
People of all backgrounds, ages and body types are very wel- come. No experience with yoga or Buddhism needed. We simply ask you to be committed to your own health and happiness, and that you want the same for others.
The beauty of Lu Jong is its accessibility and effectiveness for bringing all kinds of people into balance. There is increasing interest in Lu Jong and loving, compassionate individuals are needed to help share it!
