Spiritual mediumship shouldn’t be frightening because it’s all about connecting you to those you have loved and lost; providing evidence that, although they are no longer physically present, they are still very much alive and take an active interest in your life and the lives of those they left behind.


The bonds of love are eternal, which means that the love we share with family, friends and beloved pets continues well after they have left the earth plane. Good mediumship can take away a little of the sting from the sharpness of grief we feel when those closest to us pass away.


Here on earth, it is easy to forget that we are actually a spirit having an earthly physical experience rather than the other way around. But you were spirit before you were born and you are spirit after you leave. The big realisation, however, is that you are also spirit right now!


Your spirit is eternal. It is the part of you that cannot, and does not, die – even when your body reaches the end of its lifespan and can no longer support it. Most of us know this, and feel it at the very core of our being, but in the midst of a busy life, or a life overshadowed by the pallor of grief, it’s easy to lose sight of that.
