In the grilling world, people are

looking for versatility with their cookers. They want to be able to put things on the grill, but also to use cast-iron pans so outdoor cooking can be so much more than grilled meat. If you have a grill with a “duel

fuel” (gas/charcoal) option, you can use the gas to light the charcoal. It’s a quick way of getting the cooker fired up. The things to look for in a gas

grill are even heat distribution and quality of construction. I like Napolean grills. The grilling season is upon us!

Are you ready for the party? Here’s something you can create using a cast iron pan on your grill with pulled pork, double-smoked bacon, carmelized onion jam, and brie, thanks to chefs Derrick Cotnam and Shane Chartrand:

Best Grilled Cheese Ever Ingredients One loaf of multigrain bread 2 lb pulled pork 2 onions 6 oz double smoked bacon Brie cheese Garlic butter

Instructions • Caramelize onions with double smoked bacon.

• Slice brie cheese. • Coat outside of bread with garlic butter. • Put one layer of brie on bread. Top with pulled pork and onion

bacon jam; then top with another layer of brie.

• Set your cast iron pan to a medium heat… and proceed to grill the best grilled cheese you have ever had!

If you are looking for an

appetizer for this epic grilled cheese try wrapping dates with bacon and toss them on the grill. I assure you this will not disappoint your guests.
