Power, got our bus through the many narrow roads and passes of the Rings of Kerry, with the steep cliffs and astonishing scenery. But it was what everyone talked about after our trip. We drove through the rugged


mountains of Derrynasaggart on our way to Cork, and we stopped at the world famous Blarney Castle. Of course, we kissed the Blarney Stone. It was a very weird thing to do, because there are literally millions who have done that. I don’t remember anyone cleaning the stone before the next kiss, either. That night we stayed at the Blarney


Golf Course Hotel. I had an afternoon to myself, so I rented clubs, a cart and a few balls and played 18 holes at the links-style course. It was probably the best three hours I could have spent. (I just couldn’t see myself travelling to
