COST COMPETITIVE LOCATION Tees Valley has some of the lowest operating costs in the UK with rents and rates around half that of major UK cities and a quarter of those in London and the South East.


ENTERPRISE ZONES Tees Valley has 12 Enterprise Zone sites with a total of 423 hectares available for new business investment. 4 sites have Enhanced Capital Allowances up to £100 million and simplified planning. These are South Bank Wharf, Hartlepool Port Estates, New Energy and Technology Park and Wilton International.
