10.00am – 5.00pm Dartmouth Academy Christmas Fair in the Old Market


10.00am - 4.00pm In The Flavel


Seasonal craft workshops for both adults and children (pre-book at The Flavel)


Santa’s grotto and other fun for the kids


10.00am - 7.00pm Entertainers and musicians in Royal Avenue Gardens and around town


11am Children’s fancy dress (Jack Frost and the Snow Queen) competition at the Bandstand


2.00pm Best dressed Christmas dog competition at the Bandstand


5.30pm The lantern procession starts from the Old Market and travels through the town


6.00pm The lantern procession arrives in Royal Avenue Gardens for the “party” finale with live music


7.00pm Markets close


7.30pm Candlelit Arias at The Flavel Pre-booking at the Flavel essential

Mulled wine will be sold in the Avenue Gardens on Friday afternoon and all day saturday in both the Avenue Gardens and Market square to raise funds to support the Candlelit Dartmouth Festival. The organisers would like to thank the Royal Castle Hotel for their wonderful kindness in donating the mulled wine for the event.
