Vegetarian Thanksgiving Workshop in Jersey City
len’da’rella will present a veg- etarian Thanksgiving workshop, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., November 16, for those looking for a healthier alternative to the classic American meal. Participants will learn how to make a fun, plant-based Thanksgiv- ing feast from start to finish with recipes using minimal oil, butter, and cream, an itemized shopping list and a detailed guide for prepar- ing and cooking.
“The purpose of this workshop and all we do is to give people a healthy, alternative way of eating conventional food,” says Jackie Green, owner of Slen’da’rella. “We take all-time favorites, clean them up, and then make them look good and taste great. We can cre- ate different versions of food for our clients to meet all their needs, whether they are vegetarian, vegan, raw, or have food allergies.”
