SWIM SPAS

Spas, rather than merely mimic a pool’s appearance, they’ve launched two new products that bring the form and function of both hot tubs and pools together: the All Weather Pool and the Summit XL. The Summit XL defies expectations in that it is the most expansive hot tub they’ve made to date. Measuring a colossal eight by ten feet, this swim spa has seating for nine people, and has a total of 61 jets. Entertaining greater numbers of friends and family is now possible thanks to the sheer size of the Summit XL. The All Weather Pool is designed as an alternative to typical pools, which do not get year-round usage thanks to unpredictable weather, huge operation costs and time- consuming maintenance schedules. Arctic Spas have five models of these revolutionary products, and all of them can be used for workouts and rehabilitation thanks to a multitude of counter-current and tether resistance systems.

INCREASED RANGE FROM PASSION SPAS

Passion Spas have increased their huge swim spa Sport Collection for 2013, with three new breakthrough swim spa models. Passion Spas is the first creator in the market with a swim spa swimming depth of 1.55m, instead of a depth of 1.30m. Also new for 2013 is the Aquatic 6. This swim spa has a dimension of 7.80m x 1.55m. This model has two Aquarolling Massage seats. Aquarolling Massage is the newest massage technology in the spa industry. This swim spa also has two relaxing lounge seats with great massage streams for the shoulders, neck, back, legs and feet. The Premium is also new from Passion Spas so for 2013 they can offer ten swim spa models with a range of 25 swim spas always stocked.

With the very poor interest rates we have seen huge growth on leisure products in swim spas, saunas and spas with the customer demographic shifting to the more mature customers who are blowing inheritance on products they want to enjoy! The swim spa sales have increased and we feel this is for three reasons – firstly the running costs – with the average swim spa costing between 95p and £1.30 per day to run, secondly space – the swim spas are ideal
