A
utomatic swimming pool covers are the answer to many pool owners’ prayers. Once installed no physical labour is involved just the touch of a button or turn of a key and opening or closing is completed. As well as saving on physical energy, automatic covers also tick all boxes when it comes to conserving the pool’s energy. Chemical usage is reduced, debris is excluded, expensive heating costs are cut and many of today’s sophisticated cover ups also use solar power both to operate and to further boost the level of heat within the water. Another important factor in automatic covers is that of safety and security and when all the benefits combine it is no wonder that automatic pool covers have seen a rise in popularity in recent years. The Roldeck comes in the form of a taut pattern of slats, similar to a Venetian blind. Automatic coiling and uncoiling is ultra- smooth and silent. Each section simulates the double-glazing system, with 0.5” of interspace combining the highest degree of insulation with evaporation control. The Roldeck slats float on the water surface and are made to measure at the factory in Holland. The first range is the traditional and still very popular PVC slat which is available in white, blue, grey, cream, solar and translucent (which has a slight blue tint).
They are supplied with colour matched ultra-sonically welded end caps which guarantees a watertight seal.
