Galaxy and Orion enclosures are the two likely to make the biggest impact in what is still a growing and active market for pool enclosures in the UK. Galaxy, which features up to a 10 metres span availability with fixed installation construction is one of the company’s headline products. On both sides of the model and for the entire length, foldable doors are divided into two parts and can be opened up to two metres in height. The doors are two meters wide, so after opening, only the support of the enclosure remains on the ground, which means there is nothing to obstruct traffic going in and out. Orion is Aquacomet’s top product, features a 12-metre span and is available without rails with a telescopic opening and closing system. SEE US ON STAND U146

AQUACOMET BRINGS NEW ENCLOSURES TO THE MARKET Hungarian based manufacturers Aquacomet have a new range of high quality pool enclosures making their first appearance in the UK. There are 17 lines in all – from a Hungarian family run company which has four air conditioned modern

Oase has brought a new polycarbonate slat with anti-algae hinge to the market. A revolutionary solar slat has a patented hinge, which prevents formation of algae into the hook. The hinge is made black on top, so that no light can get onto the hook of the other profile.

With normal PVC or polycarbonate solar slats algae can easily grow into the hinge of the profiles. This is due to the fact that the hinge is not protected from heat and light.

Many customers have complained about this in the past. With the new profile, this shortcoming should now have been eliminated.

Because of the width (83mm), this slatted pool cover can also help to give the swimming pool a certain degree of safety. SEE US ON STAND L136
