CIAO ENRICO


It was a great sadness to learn of the passing of Clay Paky Com- mercial Director, Enrico Caironi in mid-December. Enrico had a passion for the lighting world, and was a well-loved character amongst his friends and colleagues.


He will be remembered for his professionalism, integrity and hu- manity, as well as his dedication to his role at Clay Paky, which he held from 1995.


In December of last year, after putting up a strong fight, Enrico lost his battle with a serious disease. News of his death sent waves through the lighting world. The industry has lost a true veteran. Our thoughts go out to his friends, family and colleagues at this difficult time.

POWERSOFT ANNOUNCES NEW ACCOUNT MANAGER


Following the outstanding work carried out by Daniel Costa Salomao in Brazil during 2011, Powersoft has extended the collaboration by appointing him as the new Account Manager for the CALA region (Central America Latin America). Daniel’s task will be to maxi- mise business in those countries where Powersoft is already present, and at the same time open new markets within the region.


According to Luca Giorgi, Powersoft’s Pro Audio Business Unit Manager, Mr. Salomao’s invaluable experience and commercial expertise will help improve Powersoft’s network of business part- ners substantially across Central and South America.

STUDER APPOINTS INGO HAHN AS PRODUCT MANAGER


Harman’s Studer has appointed Ingo Hahn to the position of Product Manager. In his new position, Hahn will be responsible for the planning and development of new Studer products and enhancements to the existing Studer product line, while also providing support to Studer’s customer base.
