The university offers a variety of degree
programmes with English as the language of instruction. In addition to welcoming a large international student population, we maintain long-term partnerships with foreign universities around the world with similar high
standards, participate in international networks and incorporate international themes in our programmes. Founded in 1614 In line with our rich academic tradition, the University of Groningen enjoys an international reputation as a leading research university.
