Raju completed an MBA at University of Derby, Derby Business School in 2007. He now works as Head of Service Delivery at a strategic business management consulting firm - The Lighthouse LLC - in Muscat, Oman.
Entrepreneurial ambitions
I chose to study the MBA at Derby to help me become a successful entrepreneur in the future. Since graduating from the MBA, I have been gaining experience working in Strategic and HR consulting jobs in Oman.

My first job after graduating was as a strategic HR consultant. I then worked up to a senior consultant and now I’m Head of Service Delivery for all strategic HR consulting assignments. The MBA changed my life I would go so far as to say that it

I learnt the theory of marketing, organisational strategy and structure, leading strategic change, people and project management and development, strategic finance and management accounting - all valuable tools that I have used throughout my subsequent career. More importantly, I benefited a great deal from the words of wisdom offered by fellow classmates and the knowledge gained from visiting entrepreneurs from various business spheres.
My message to people considering the MBA
The Derby MBA will be a useful tool in establishing your credentials and network - whether you are trying to get hired by an existing firm, or whether you plan to start your own business.
