Te Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland
Burman York Mathis (703) 901-1683 Legal Malpractice
Te Honorable John Debelius Circuit Court for Montgomery County
Appellant alleges misconduct by his former attorneys arising out of the representation of the appellant in contentious divorce proceedings. Appellant filed a complaint against his former attorneys with the Attorney Grievance Commission (“AGC”) of Maryland. Te AGC dismissed the complaint without comment.
In response, Appellant, a trained

Upon consideration, Judge
Debelius of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County denied Appellant’s petition from which he now appeals.
Parker’s Wharft, LLC, also an Appellee, filed a complaint for trespass and injunctive relief against Appellant. Te cases were tried and the Court did not rule in favor of either party. Both sides appealed to the Court of Special Appeals. Te cases were consolidated and remanded by the Court. A new trial began in July 2009. Judge Hotten imposed discovery sanctions against the Appellant barring testimony. As a result, judgment was in favor of Appellees. Appellant appeals that decision.
