Navigating the MTLA Website LEGALTECH

by John J. Cord The MTLA listservs have been described by our members

as the best and most inexpensive expert on everything. Every regular MTLA member has full access to the general listserv, and registration in an MTLA section entitles members to access that section-specific listserv. This is a virtual meeting of the minds, where attorneys can pose questions, offer insight, and exchange knowledge. It is a singular collective of the legal experience and practical knowledge of Maryland’s plaintiff ’s bar. Likewise, the MTLA website is akin to the best law clerk or paralegal — where else can you find sample pleadings and discovery, depositions of defendants in other cases, and tactics to deal with defense experts, all in one place? It is a one-stop shop for a wealth of information about defendants, experts, and causes of action. This article is a convenient cheat-sheet for accessing this

goldmine. Refer to it often, and use it to secure justice for your clients.
