MARYLAND TRIAL LAWYERS ASSOCIATION

SAFE KIDS WEEK 2008 BIKE HELMET PROJECT

In support of Safe Kids Week, the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA) in partnership with the Maryland SAFE KIDS Campaign donated bicycle helmets to school children at Beechfield Elementary School, in Baltimore, MD, on May 2, 2008. In addition to purchasing the helmets, MTLA members helped fit the children with helmets and explained the importance of wearing bike helmets. Since 2000, MTLA has raised over $76,000 and has donated more than 6,500 helmets to elementary school students in Maryland.
