EFACS E/8 and Eagle Field Service secure major business improvements at Haigh Engineering

stablished in 1955, Haigh Engineering delivers waste management solutions based on state-of-the-art design, value and reliable performance across a number of sectors, including waste water treatment, healthcare, marine, military, biofuels and the catering industry. The 100 strong workforce company invests heavily in the latest technologies, product development and the very best people with the aim of providing customers with optimum solutions for their business. Haigh’s managing director, Luke Shepherd, commented that, being a family- owned company, Haigh Engineering takes a long-term view on developments, investments, product quality and ultimately its service to customers.


Research and development is also very important to Haigh in order to improve existing products, develop new systems and to address the continuously changing needs of its customers. Haigh originally developed the ‘Tweeny’ under-sink disposal unit and has since diversified into specialist solutions for controlling waste streams and maceration products. engineers and developers is supported by computerised 3D modelling and an up-to-date manufacturing facility with CNC machining centres, lathes, laser cutting, CNC press brakes and robot welding, plus fabrication and welding facilities. Haigh also keeps spare parts for all products for a minimum of ten years, enabling equipment to provide many years of quality service. All this in turn is
