In vitro tests and regeneration tests on skin models have shown significant

An anti-erythema study has shown the positive influence of adding 2 per
cent Glycoin Extremium
®
in after sun care products. Measurements of
erythema intensity were performed 48 hours after an initial UV irradiation
followed by 3 applications of test or placebo creams. Results have shown
a significant reduction of red blood cell concentration in the skin compared
to the placebo cream (see figure 3). Furthermore, 76 per cent of the
volunteers showed an improvement compared to the untreated skin.
