Stansted set to gain £45m Hampton by Hilton by 2017

The largest Hampton by Hilton in Europe is due to open at Stansted in summer 2017.
Hilton Worldwide has
signed a franchise agreement to operate a 357-room property at the airport after developers secured planning permission to build the hotel at a cost of £45 million. The hotel will provide direct
access to the airport’s terminal. The project is part of Stansted
owner Manchester Airports Group’s £260 million plan to attract more passengers, airlines and long-haul services to the airport. Work is scheduled to start on
the hotel by the end of the year. Patrick Fitzgibbon, Hilton
