In the Finals, it was Davis who would shine, claiming a gold medal and an

Olympic quota for the U.S. On the last shot of the Final with Julio Iemma of Venezuela, Davis held just a .1 lead. Davis got his shot of 10.3 off early and Iemma was unable to catch him, shooting just a 10.1. Iemma won the silver and Wallizer took the bronze in this event. Pan American Games Champion, Brad Balsley (U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit/ Uniontown, Pennsylvania) made his fi rst international medal a big one – a gold medal that comes along with an Olympic quota. “It felt great to be able to compete and be at the same level as those guys,”
