to break through the clutter and ranks early in your career. Never before has anyone ever broken through as soon as Saabye. Five-time Olympic medalist Kim Rhode was a National Team member at age 14. Pistol Olympians Brenda
Silva (Snowfl ake, Arizona) and Brian Beaman (Selby, South Dakota) also picked up Na- tional titles with the 53-year- old Silva earning hers in Sport while Beaman captured top honors in Free on the last day of Nationals. Will Brown (Twin Falls, Idaho) and Courtney An- thony (Lexington, Nebraska) were the National Champs in Air Pistol. Will’s brother Wyatt cleaned up the Junior portion of pistol events earning Junior titles in both Free and Air.
A three-time Nationals run-
ner-up, Dempster Christenson (Sioux Falls, South Dakota) fi nally earned his fi rst national title and it came in Men’s Air Rifl e with a dominant perfor- mance from start to fi nish. He posted top scores in both Qualifi cation matches and earned victories in both fi nals. He defeated 2014 National Champion Ryan Anderson (Wasilla, Alaska) who earned the silver while Dan Lowe (US- AMU/Olympia, Washington)
earned the bronze medal for the second straight year. Also winning national titles
in non-Olympic events were fi ve-time Olympian Milev in Standard Pistol, Greg Mar- kowski (USAMU/Columbus, Georgia) in Centerfi re Pistol, Glenn Zimmerman (Water- ville, Ohio) in Junior Sport Pistol and Reya Kempley (Reno, Nevada) in Women’s Prone Rifl e.
