Princess to add nightclub on Regal in Caribbean Princess Cruises has introduced an outdoor nightclub for its inaugural Caribbean season. The Night Sky
Lounge on Regal Princess will see the top-deck Retreat Pool transformed into a nightclub for one night per cruise from November. Princess will charge passengers a nominal entry fee.

Holland America lays keel of first Pinnacle Class ship Holland America Line has celebrated the keel-laying of its first Pinnacle Class ship at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard in Italy. A 680-ton block was lowered by crane into the yard’s building dock, marking the official beginning of construction. The 2,650-passenger ship – yet to be named – is scheduled for delivery in February 2016.

Calling late-risers: Crystal Cruises introduces excursions that depart later in the morning
Crystal Cruises is introducing excursions for passengers who like to lie in in the morning. The line’s Crystal Adventures
excursions typically depart as early as 8am but the new Late-Risers Adventures will begin closer to 11am or noon, depending on the itinerary. The start times are designed to complement the line’s Late- Risers Breakfasts, served from 10-11.30am on both Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony. Crystal President Edie Rodriguez said: “There are so many different types of travellers, each with their own idea of the perfect holiday. For many, this involves plenty of rest and relaxation. “The Late-Risers Adventures
allow guests who prefer more sleep in the morning – or who are perhaps still adjusting to a time change, or simply like to enjoy a

long, leisurely breakfast – to keep their preferred schedule without missing out on any of the expertly crafted Crystal Adventures in a select destination.” The new, later excursions will be introduced on Crystal Serenity’s Boston-Quebec sailing on September 19 and Crystal Symphony’s Hamburg-Lisbon cruise on September 27.
