Cramo acquires OptiRent in Finland
Cramo strengthens its position as earth moving equipment rental partner by acquiring all the shares of the Finnish privately owned rental company OptiRent. OptiRent, founded in 2007, is the market leader in Finland in the rental of earth moving equipment weighing under 10 tons. OptiRent's sales in 2013 were EUR 2.3 million and the company employs four persons.
Following the deal, Cramo will establish a new service unit for earth moving equipment in Vantaa, which will combine Cramo's and OptiRent's operations, specialising in earth moving and excavation. The unit will be led by the Managing Director of OptiRent, Mr Joni Ihalainen.
HPP advised Cramo Finland Oy on the sale and purchase of shares in OptiRent Oy, a specialist in earth moving equipment rental.

The Virgin Money London Marathon, Digital Marathon Collaboration with Paofit
Kerman & Co, acting on behalf of The Virgin Money London Marathon, drafted and negotiated the legal documentation and advised on all aspects of the ground breaking collaboration with Paofit with respect to the creation of the first ever ‘Digital Marathon’.

The world’s greatest marathon goes digital next year as runners everywhere in the world are invited to line up on a virtual start line at 10:00 GMT on Sunday 26 April 2015 to run the Digital Virgin Money London Marathon.
The Virgin Money London Marathon, in partnership with Paofit, has created a unique interactive 3D running experience that combines HD video of the famous London course with virtual reality avatars, making the unique experience of running the London Marathon available to treadmill runners everywhere.
