AUGUST Ka‘anapali Fresh
Ka‘anapali will host a series of farm to fork events including a progressive dinner and farm tours. The Hawai‘i Food and Wine festival follows.
SEPTEMBER
Maui Marathon & Half Marathon This racecourse from Kahului to Ka‘anapali is recognized as one of the 10 most scenic marathons in the USA. Fitness Expo, Carbo Lu‘au, Front Street Mile and 5K Fun Run/Walk take place over the weekend in Ka‘anapali.
OCTOBER Maui County Fair Enjoy carnival games, rides, entertainment, local food, arts and crafts, a parade, exhibits and orchid display.
Annual XTERRA World Championship A premier off-road, extreme multi-sport competition features an ocean swim, mountain bike ride and off-road trail run. It attracts an international eld of the world’s nest triathletes to the Kapalua Resort. Trail Runs, open to all, kick off the competition.
NOVEMBER Annual Hula O Na Keiki Maui’s only children’s solo hula and chant competition is hosted at the Ka‘anapali Beach Hotel. The weekend features workshops on chant and hula, arts and crafts displays, delicious local food and live entertainment.
Maui Invitational Basketball Tournament Hawaii’s Chaminade University host’s NCAA- sanctioned top college teams in this exciting, annual, pre-season tournament at the Lahaina Civic Center.
