‘Summer is my favourite time of year at Magor Marsh, when the meadows are full of colourful flowers and butterflies. Our children enjoy following the Dragonfly Trail and spotting pond creatures in the reens (drainage ditches).’
PERFECT FOR: A family walk in wellies and occasional family fun days (check website for dates). GOOD TO KNOW: Solutia Reserve – also managed by Gwent Wildlife Trust – is under 10 minutes drive away from Magor Marsh.
