HSC could change your life


The Hire Supply Company is offering the chance to win no less than £10,000 in a special safe-cracking competition. Hirers will get two chances to enter the six-digit code on a safe on the stand, and if successful they will win the money.

Ridge goes the distance


Ridge Tool UK will display the Ridgid 600-I and 690-I hand-held threading machines for use with pipes having a maximum diameter of 1in and 2in respectively. Two-jaw support arms are incorporated for increased grip and safety, and the dies are designed for fast operation. Hirers will also be able to

see the LM-400, an advanced laser meter that can connect to a smartphone or tablet to transfer measurements on to a photograph or sketch. The device can take angle measurements up to 65° and has a sensor for instant simultaneous horizontal, vertical and diagonal distance measurement.


Cubb Engineering will be showing a model from the range of compact Weed Brushes that it manufactures, and which is being launched into the hire market. It can be used on hard surfaces for removing moss, weeds and algae without using water, and is suitable for use on drives, patios and block- paved areas. Powered by a Honda engine, the machine has a hydraulic rotary steel brush, with forward and reverse rotation, and can be supplied in corporate colours. Any orders placed on the stand will receive a 10% discount.
