This year’s ISSF World Cup Series came to an end with the Rifle/ Pistol World Cup Final in Bangkok while Shotgun’s season ended with a re-visit to Lonato, Italy. Only the sport’s top performers are invited to compete in the World Cup Finals. Nearly 140 shooters took to the ranges in Thailand and Italy, including 2012 Olympic champions, past Olympic medalists, 2012 World Cup title defend- ers and the best athletes throughout this year’s ISSF World Cup Series. In all, USA Shooting athletes earned four medals and six top-five finishes in ISSF World Cup Finals.
“This medal is for all my family, friends and sup- porters. It feels great to come back after a bad Olympics and be on top of the podium again. I’m very happy, as this is my first ISSF World Cup Final medal. The targets were difficult today, with a lot of variation due to the wind and the machines.”
