Foundation, a longtime USA Shooting sponsor, has made signifi cant contributions not only in fi nancial support but also in developing the athletes through the establishment of youth organizations such as the Scholastic Clay Target Program and Progressive Pistol Program. The NSSF also has been instrumental in promoting the shooting sports and featured the 2012 Olympic shooting medalists in a full-page USA Today advertisement following the London Olympics. The Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers’ Institute (SAAMI), for the 12th consecutive year, selected USA Shooting as the benefi ciary of its annual
fundraising event. SAAMI and its members have donated more than $200,000 to USA Shooting. FMG Publications’ generous
support of the team helps promote Olympic shooting and provides exposure for the team through free advertising placements throughout the year in GUNS Magazine, American Handgunner and Shooting Industry magazines. Additionally, members of the USA Shooting Team were once again involved in FMG’s annual Shooting Industry Masters, helping raise money for USA Shooting through the Masters’ Rent-A-Ringer program, and instructing new shooters in the Masters First Shots Orientation. USA Shooting Team’s
partnership with Cabela’s increases awareness of the team through a variety of outlets, ties together other sponsors in promotions and raises funds through a line of USA Shooting Team branded gear. Conservation organizations such as the Dallas Safari Club, Mule Deer Foundation, Sportsmen for
Fish & Wildlife, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Safari Club International and Wild Sheep Foundation have partnered with USA Shooting. They have welcomed team members to participate in their annual conventions, which raises awareness and support. Guns customized by Baron Technology and other sponsors auctioned at conservation conventions have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars during the past four years. “USA Shooting is grateful for all of our sponsors, partners and supporters that have made this Olympic Games a success. We are also proud of our industry that continues to keep the shooting sports strong in America. We look forward to continuing our partnerships as our athletes compete throughout the world,” DuVall said.
