Lets Break up? When you want lumps to be smaller, why not

try the Glen Creston Roller Crusher!

his rugged, slow-running mill is equipped with either a single or double roller shafts fitted with crushing cams which rotate between crushing and stripping combs. Different shaped crushing elements are available depending on material. This machine is particularly suitable for de- agglomeration of materials from sacks or silos, pre-crushing softer minerals and for granulating coarse lumpy,

T caked or compacted materials.

Features include: • Robust construction • Minimal maintenance

• Compact design allows retro-fitting into existing process lines.

• Parts easily removed for maintenance/repair Suitable for:

• Pigments and Resin • Food and Pharmaceutical • Coal • Waste materials and Ash • Minerals

he Labfacility L200 Pt100 and thermocouple thermometer can be used in conjunction with a PC to provide accurate, versatile 8 channel temperature measurement, scanning and logging of measured values. It can also be used as a “stand alone” 8-channel indicator / logger and incorporates a digital display of measured temperature. The self-calibration facility for the thermocouple version is a rapid and convenient method for on-site calibration and does not require any additional equipment other than a special ,external link which is provided with the instrument. Self- calibration of Pt100 ranges is equally simple and uses plug-in precision resistors. The L200 is designed to provide exceptional stability with high measurement resolution and represents an ideal crossover between plant practicality and laboratory performance at a very competitive price. The PC software supplied with the instrument allows control, measure, logging and calibration functions. The eight input channels accept thermocouples type J,K,T,E,N,R ,S & B or Pt100 2 or 3 wire sensors; the thermocouple version incorporates highly stable , automatic cold junction compensation. The L200 is CE marked, RoHS compliant and has a two year warranty.

VEGA Apps, Tools & more! V

SHOWCASE

Labfacility L200 USB Digital Thermometer/Data Logger

EGA have developed and launched a new product, its free and available now for your ‘smart’ phone or device. The App is called

‘VEGA Tools’, this multi-platform ‘tool’ enables access to numerous utilities revolving around VEGA instruments and services, so you can get help and information right where you need it. The first function available for your smart device is ‘Instrument Search’. This automatically provides the instruments’ information and operating manuals. Additionally, if you register, it offers instrument-specific documentation and certificates, also

updates on new Apps as they arrive. This App works by enabling the device camera to scan the bar code or data matrix (QR) code on the VEGA sensor, or you can type-in the serial number found beneath the bar code, inside the housing, or stored in the transmitter electronics. (Remember to only use smart devices in plant areas that are designated or checked as safe to use). These Apps, with more to come, are designed to provide convenient help to the VEGA instrument user and customer, available anytime, anywhere, for faster, more accurate device information. You can download them at the Apple App and Google Play Store, as a free-of-charge download.

esigned to provide reliable and stable long-term operation, the new J6S-X range of steam traps from Cheltenham-based steam specialist TLV Euro Engineering have been sized to complement the company’s existing J series range of traps. The CF8-grade stainless-steel J6S-X steam traps also feature thermostatic air venting, which operates using the temperature difference between steam and air. Its combination of precision-ground float, constant water seal ensures a steam tight seal, even under no-load conditions. TLV’s J6S-X free-float steam traps can be installed on a variety of equipment that uses steam as a heat source,

where they provide continuous, smooth, relatively low-velocity condensate discharge as loads vary. The patented self-modulating design also only features a single moving part – the free float – which prevents concentrated wear and provides a long, low maintenance life. In addition to its compact size and larger condensate discharge capacities, J6S-X steam traps are also equipped with an “X-element” to provide a powerful, automatic air vent function. Stainless steel construction makes the J6S-X ideal for specifications requiring extremely high levels of durability and corrosion resistance.

Improved Differential Pressure sensor launched!

I

n line with their continuous improvement programme, Ellison Sensors have re-engineered the PR3200 Differential pressure sensor to include full SoS (Silicon on Sapphire) sensing technology and Titanium pressure ports. The changes will make the already versatile sensor suitable for more arduous and challenging applications found in industrial and process markets. Applications include static differential pressure measurement and control in combustion chambers and clean rooms, also condition monitoring and filter monitoring in high pressure hydraulic systems or any application for liquid or gas requiring reliable differential pressure measurement even with aggressive media.

• Silicon on Sapphire sensing technology (SoS) • Pressure ranges 250mbar - 200 bar DP • 4- 20mA output (13-36vdc supply) • Titanium wetted parts
