Defi cit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children are made solely on the basis of clinical symptoms without the benefi t of a medical or biochemical test. Because symptoms such as trouble concentrating, fi dgeting, and daydreaming are normal activities for most children, misdiagnosis could lead to medicating children without warrant.
