PURE LOOKS

Here’s a peak at Schwarzkopf Professional’s Essential Looks Collection, which was unveiled after a PH Club

business masterclass. (You can check out some more in the gallery pgs114-119).

Business pro Hamish Taylor fired up

the PH Club members with stories of his time at BA, Sainsbury’s and other household names; giving advice on how to boost profitability. “I’ve discovered that in business the best breakthroughs occur when you look outside the norm for your industry,” he says. Then came the time for the presentation

Some of the Essential Looks from Schwarzkopf Professional

of the PURE collection by Schwarzkopf Professional’s global ambassadors Charlie Taylor and Luke Walton, as they demonstrated a wide array of cutting and styling skills.

SALON LAUNCH

Set in Woolavington, Somerset, Jamie Stevens’ new salon certainly looks like it’s had Gok’s Fashion Fix with its bright, modern décor, but in fact the fashion icon was at the exclusive launch simply to admire. Fully equipped with seven styling stations, two backwash chairs

with a to-die-for massage feature, and a colour area, it is kitted out with contemporary furniture and fittings adding to the relaxed atmosphere. The celebrity hairdresser took time out of his busy schedule – which includes making women look good naked, on Gok’s popular show – to open the eponymous salon. He says: “I’m really looking forward to offering London-

standard hairdressing in my home town.” Jamie’s pal Gok says: “I’m supporting Jamie because he’s all

about the talent, and not the ego.” Jamie will continue to work at Errol Douglas in London three days a week alongside his filming commitments.
