Extending Opportunities Overseas
For the first time this year Adult Volunteers overseas
have achieved Senior Awards. This has sparked an
interest by the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps (HKACC)
which is keen to offer its volunteers access to CVQO’s
ILM Level 3 Award in First Line Management and all
three City & Guilds Senior Awards. It is anticipated that
this will come to fruition in the near future.
Everyone’s A Winner
During this year 16 Volunteers from Greater
Manchester ACF have enrolled for City & Guilds Senior
Awards through CVQO. These volunteers are members
of a working party established to enhance the provision
of the Duke of Edinburgh Award for cadets and add
value and experience to the CVs of the volunteers. As
a result of this initiative everyone stands to benefit.
