FLAG CLOCKS
Weems & Plath has produced a new range of cabin
clocks with numeral pennants to show the hours
on their black dials. The clocks are set into brass
cases, which are finished as either polished brass
or polished chrome. The brass Martinique has a
hinged, porthole style bezel, while the Atlantis has a
plain bezel and is finished in either brass or chrome.
Each has a battery powered quartz movement and
matching barometers are also available.

EXTENDED WIFI
The WL500 WiFi access system is designed to extend the
hotspot reception range for onboard computers. The system
uses a 12V DC, 500mW booster/modem, which is mounted below
decks, with an external high gain (8.15dBi) antenna supplied with
10m of low loss co-axial cable. The 0.9m long antenna can be deck,
mast or rail mounted. The modem connects to the computer via a
USB socket. The software shows a list of hotspots within range,
together with their signal strength and security status. Ranges of
4-6 miles are indicated.

OFFSHORE LINE
Line 7’s updated Offshore Jacket and Offshore Trousers are made with
a three layer, laminated fabric offering high levels of breathability and
waterproofing together with light weight. The Jacket has a close fitting
fluorescent hood with three way adjustment and reflective patches and
inner and outer storm flaps with ‘guttering’ for drainage. The back of
the jacket is scooped lower than previous versions. The Trousers are
made from the same fabric as the Jacket with reinforcement on the
knees and seat. The knees are also ‘articulated’ for easier movement.
