The North Pole


The North Pole is not on land. It sits on a giant layer of ice that fl oats on the Arctic Ocean. The ice shifts and moves. In summer, the ice shrinks and gets thinner as it melts. That makes exploring the area dangerous. Jade and her team had to watch out for thin ice.
