The soft expressions in oils by Pamela Blaies represent the variety of art within the inviting Holder Dane Gallery space. The old masters-style hint of light on glass and silver with roses bent against flow-blue pottery demonstrate Blaies’ classical style of soft-edged brushstrokes. David Robin Hoyt is new to the gallery and brings a fresh contrast with his stark, white mid-century modern forms. His cleanly carved lines create subtle shadows and pleasing curves. Sculptures range from tabletop size (pictured) to com- missioned wood forms that rise 25 feet and fill lofty heights in both lobbies and residences. Pam Stern’s Reliquaries, done in her illustrator style, are the most sought after of all her highly original sculpture. A rare bird oil painting by
Ann Hardy is only a small part of her very large talent. Adding to her lifetime of achievements, Hardy recently received her Masters Signature Membership in the Outdoor Painters Society and Signature Membership from the American Impressionist Society.
MT Hunt brings an exciting abstract representation to the gallery. Her large-scale acrylic paintings feature bold colors that recede into floating layers of movement and reflect the passion that Hunt paints into her canvases.
