presents Faces of the Earth, a collection of up close and personal observations of natural beauty. Globally successful and acclaimed artist Albena Hristova was born and raised behind the Iron Curtain in Bulgaria. Her first influence was her mother who, at the time, was the lead art re- storer at the Bulgarian National Gallery in Sofia. Following in her footsteps, Hristova started painting at the age of 4 and went on to complete 12 years of classical art education as well as a masters in mural painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia. Hristova’s artistic interests have taken her to many different subject matters, from classical and traditional to expressionist and abstract as well as from floral and architectural themes to canyons and deserts.
