Founded 22 years ago in Dallas, Christopher Martin Gallery has created the perfect atmosphere to present reverse glass paint- ings and limited editions by Christopher H. Martin. Located in the Dallas Design District, the gallery is directed by Natalie Crosby. Christopher Martin Galleries are also located in Aspen, Colorado, and Santa Fe, New Mexico. The gallery also participates at acclaimed art fairs in Miami, the Hamptons, New York City, Chicago, Aspen and Palm Springs. Currently on display at the Dallas gallery are selections of work by Christopher H. Martin and sculptures by Michael Enn Sirvet for the Winter Show. Martin abstracts his observations of nature using his signature reverse painting technique ap- plied to the back of acrylic pan- els. At first glance, Martin’s and Sirvet’s works display a rational balance and an undeniable harmony. Upon contemplation, the pieces reflect an organic sense of existence and a natural ability to transform the spaces that they inhabit. While creating his Aria Discs, Martin was inspired by the orbits of moons and planets in the solar system. The discs feature subtle metallic hues and iridescence. The Aria Discs were chosen by Art Miami as Special Projects for Art Wynwood, during Presidents’ Day weekend 2017.
